The Problem of Evil

The Problem of Evil asks how a world with suffering and injustice can exist if a perfectly good, all-powerful, and all-knowing God exists. It appears contradictory that such a being would allow pain, natural disasters, and moral wrongdoing. One explanation is that evil results from human free will rather than divine intention. Another idea is that suffering may serve a greater purpose or be part of a larger plan beyond human understanding. Despite many attempts to explain it, the issue remains a major philosophical mystery.
